Tracking Connection Weekend
Weekend immersion in wildlife tracking
Program description
Join us for a full weekend exploring wildlife tracking hotspots in the Jeffersonville VT area, on the cusp between summer and fall. We'll search out tracks and investigate habitat edges rich with widlife sign, uncovering ecological stories and gaining fluency in interpreting them. Activities will be weather-dependent and designed to make the most of the conditions and wildlife activity. We will have access to a great number of beaver ponds, stream corridors, and forests on both private and public land. This is planned as a fully-outdoors program, with an option of moving some activities indoors in case of extreme weather. Program timing to be confirmed (approx. 7 hours on Saturday, 6 hours on Sunday). Feel free to reach out about local lodging options if traveling to the area. Limited to 9 participants.
